He won the prize for writing and presenting the Indian research story on his Ph.D. topic. His topic is “Adoption of Green building for sustainable growth of Rural India”
AWSAR award is Augmenting Writing Skills for Articulating Research (AWSAR)” is an initiative that aims to disseminate Indian research stories among the masses in an easy to understand and useful to common man.
Among lakhs of participants, 103 participants were selected for final competition and among 103 participants he won the first prestigious prize. Kudos to team Civil Engg. as this is first National recognition at Ph.D. research level.
What is AWSAR?
Augmenting Writing Skills for Articulating Research (AWSAR) is a new initiative conceptualized & supported by National Council for Science & Technology Communication (NCSTC) Division, Department of Science and Technology (DST) which is actively engaged in developing various outreach programs for the scientific fraternity. AWSAR envisage to bridge the existing gap in communicating research to the common man by utilizing the latent potential of Ph.D. Scholars and Post-Doctoral Fellows (PDFs). This program is being coordinated by VigyanPrasar, an autonomous institute of DST.
