Workshop on "ORCID - Connecting Research & Researchers"
 
Central Library, in collaboration with IQAC, is excited to announce a workshop titled "ORCID: Connecting Research & Researchers" on March 16th, 2024.
 
? Workshop Schedule:
School of Engineering and Technology (SoET) Faculty: 10:00 am to 11:00 am
School of Architecture (SoA) & School of Pharmacy (SoP) Faculty: 11:15 am to 12:15 pm
 
? Venue: CO Project Lab
 
Target Audience: AIKTC Faculty
 
We urge all faculty members to prioritize attendance and adjust any conflicting schedules accordingly. If possible, please bring your charged laptops to the session. It would be beneficial to come prepared with details of your publications. Even if you already have an ORCID registration, we encourage you to join and update your profiles during the workshop.

?GIVE A BOOK TO A READER:
Date: 20th - 23rd Feb. 2024
? Display of previous year's magazines and CDs (Software/Games) for students and faculty to take home.
 
?DONATION OF BOOKS / STATIONARIES:
Spread joy and happiness by donating books and stationery items as part of "International Book Giving Day" on 14th Feb. All collected materials will be shared with orphanages.

?eQuiz ON LITERATURE:
Put your knowledge to the test with our eQuiz on literature. Twist your fingers and see how much you know!

? Certificate of Appreciation will be received by the registered participants on AIKTC-NDLI Club members on their registered email ID from the IIT-K & MHRD.

Poetry Competition Results Announcement???

Exciting news! The Poetry Competition on the theme "Library & Patriotism" has concluded, intertwining knowledge and pride. Organized by Central Library, AIKTC, it celebrated both Librarian's Day (12th Aug) and Independence Day (15th Aug).

AIKTC - Institutional Repository is become one of the Content Contributor to NDLI.
 
About NDLI:
The National Digital library of India is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not only just a repository with a search/browse facilities but also provides a host of services containing textbooks, articles, videos, audio books, lectures, simulations, fiction and all other kinds of learning media for the learners/users community. It is a project under Ministry of Education, Government of India , through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). The objective is to collect and collate metadata and provide full text index from several national and international digital libraries, as well as other relevant sources. The NDLI provides free of cost access to many books and designed to hold content of any languages and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
 

For UG: Hard copies of all the UG Project Report/Black Book is to be submitted in the library itself by any one of the students in a group.

 

For PG & Ph.D.: In case of PG Dissertation and Ph.D. Theses, the individual student is required to submit the hard copy to the library.

 

Also, note that since CD / DVD for the project report documentation is ceased, we would like to have the soft-copy (documentation only) to be uploaded on the Google Drive in the folder named "UG & PG Project Reports, Dissertation & Theses" by one of the students from each group (for UG) and by the individual PG student.  Drive Link is provided in the Google Form.

 

Please note that the soft-copy for the UG and PG project report/dissertation/theses,  file should necessarily be:

1) In a PDF format

2) From the first page (title page) to the last page (references) as a single file

3) Signed pages should also be a part of the PDF file

Please Note that the PDF file should contain the signed pages.  Scan the signed pages from the original hard copy and merge them with the final documentation.

4) Plagiarism Report should also be a part of the Hard Copy and the PDF file

Please Note that Your Work should contain the 1st page and the last pages of Similarity Report of Plagiarism Report of your work.

ELIGIBILITY: AIKTC - Pharmacy and Engineering (UG) Students

- Maximum of 2 Books can be issued for the entire semester.
- Books will be suggested by the Library Staff.
- Student selected books can be issued, if there is no demand for those books.
