The NDL of India is a digital library that boasts of more than 2 crore resource materials from Primary to Post Graduate Level, out of which more than 40 lakh are books, and has a collection of more than 1.26 crore articles.
Educational materials are available for all subject areas like Technology, Social Science, Literature, Law, Medical, etc in all types of resources, such as Books, AudioBooks/Lectures, Video lectures, Lecture Presentations/Notes, Simulations, Question Papers, Solutions, etc. Content of all languages available. The National Digital Library of India is a single-window platform that provides learning resources with an aim to make e-learning and education accessible to all and to bring to users of all demographics, digital repositories from India and the world.
It is sponsored and mentored by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). It is developed, operated, and maintained by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
The NDLI provides free of cost access to many books in the Indian languages and English.

National Digital Library of India Club (NDLI Club) is an enabler of career progression for students, job seekers, researchers, and learners. NDLI Clubs are set up in institutes and nodal bodies, and these Clubs conduct events to facilitate students to develop knowledge, skill, and traits beyond the regular curriculum which are essential for their progression in their respective professional domains.
NDLI Club members can access a huge repository of free and open access learning resources, from anywhere and at any time, either through desktop PC or laptop or tablet or mobile, from National Digital Library of India (NDLI) (https://ndl.iitkgp.ac.in).
